Commercial Meters

Our commercial meters are powerful, easy to use, and extremely modular. Typically used in commercial buildings or apartments, these meters are perfect for measuring energy usage on a large scale. The meters design allows for extremely flexible setup, so you can add or remove devices to fit your need. For example, you can add 4 meters onto the cluster, and then add a RF module in order for the meters to communicate. Or you could add a remote disconnect module to be able to turn off power remotely. Or add both! Each part of the meter works seamlessly with each other, creating an easy to use and scalable solution for your energy needs. To the right is a graphical representation of the Infosphere architecture, giving you a better idea of what role each device plays in the network.

Commercial Modules

MCU Module

The MCU is one of the most essential modules in the Milur Commercial Cluster. It acts as a control module for the rest of the blocks. Its main functions are monitoring the level of charge and the battery life, clock accuracy, produces information about devices connected to the cluster, setting paramaters, and more. It will act as the central hub that will connect every other module together.

RF868 Module

The RF868 Module is used as a data transmission device, allowing data exchange about the state of devices. It receives data on the meter state through the radio channel at 868 MHz. It also secures the channel with the DRC, allowing for receiving information remotely via radio channel.

Analog Digital Converter

The Analog Digital Converter, or ADC, is used in the commercial cluster for counting the amount of pulses and storing them in the non-volatile memory. It acts as a collecting devices, storing signals it receives and sending alerts to the DRC. It also stores some info about the software version.

Wi-Fi Module

The Wi-Fi module is a data transmission device used in the commercial metering cluster. Similar to the RF module, the Wi-Fi module receives and transfers data of the Wi-Fi network. It allows for the reception of data from remote devices over the wifi channel, as well as broadcasts data from the DRC to Wi-Fi devices.

Smart Meter

The Smart Meter is an essential part of the cluster, providing energy measurements. It can measure active and reactive power, as well as phases and phase voltages. The meter is also capable of communications through additional interfaces that can be added on to the meter, such as RS485, PLC, and ZigBee capabilities.  In addition to energy monitoring, the meter can also measure currents, frequencies, power factors, power delays, and switching states of power relays.

Data Concentrator

The Data Concentration and Transmission Module is responsible for the interrogation of devices, collecting information on the state of devices, as well as performing tasks like correction of the system clock. It can also perform security features such as controlling access to the trusted device network.
